I was born and raised in Medicine Hat where I attended Connaught School, Alexandra Middle School and graduated from Medicine Hat High School. I attended the University of Lethbridge and the University of Saskatchewan, graduating with a Bachelor of Management degree in 2000 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2003.
Following receipt of my law degree, I returned to Medicine Hat where I articled at a local law firm under the mentorship of the Honorable Fredrick (Ted) Fisher, Provincial Court of Alberta Judge. On October 15, 2004, I was called to the Alberta Bar and I have been a practicing lawyer ever since, launching, CAMERON J. KEMP LAW OFFICE, on October 1, 2009. I am a trained Mediator and Collaborative Lawyer. I am also a member of the following professional associations:
